Respecting Moms
So one of the things that we talked about in my Family Relations class this past week were some of the un spoken rules that exist in the family. It was interesting to some many different ones. Some kids had rules where they could be out as late as they wanted to as long as the parents knew. Other rules had to do with setting the dinner table and doing dishes. I enjoyed seeing all the different rules that exist in a family. For how many people are in my class it was interesting to see that most everyone mentioned one of the same rules. That was to respect Mom. That to me is neat to see because for me personally I am grateful for my mom and all that she has done for me. Also, from a religious stand point and a social stand point we understand that moms are super important. As we talked about this rule in class of respecting moms the teacher asked about the rules on respecting dad in the house. Most people said that you respect mom more than dad in the house in the sense as in no talking back or raising your voice but with dad you could do so sometimes. If you have any thoughts on this please share.
